printer super slow after 10.11.6 update
Since update printer literally takes 15 minutes to print a document. Updated /reinstalled latest driver no help. HP 1320 laser jet.
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

If you are the only one who uses the printer - empty the print queue on the laptop - then power off the printer to clear printer memory. If this is a network printer with multiple users - you all have to have the same level of driver.
If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
I did this and it worked for first document after re-set, then back to same scenario.😐
Also tried re-setting print system on laptop - that did nothing.

Have you tried restarting the laptop - or shutting down and powering up to clear the ram?
